In this painting, I wanted to give light plenty of space. It fills almost the entire sky, in shades of blue, turquoise and white, seeming to spread into the landscape itself.

The texture, more present along the sides and in the foreground, brings depth and a sense of grounding to this almost unreal atmosphere. I love the contrast between the rich textures, which invite a closer look, and the softness of the light, which draws the eye into the distance.

Far away, a few dragons appear in the landscape. Their presence brings an imaginary dimension to the scene, a reminder that there is still room in our world for mystery and for things that go beyond what we can understand.

In my work, light represents a force that guides and supports me. Texture, on the other hand, brings me back to what is tangible, to life itself, and to the importance of staying grounded.

This is the balance I seek to paint: between softness and depth, escape and reality, imagination and being present in the world.

Dans cette toile, j’ai voulu laisser une grande place à la lumière. Elle occupe presque tout le ciel, dans des nuances de bleu, de turquoise et de blanc, et semble se diffuser jusque dans le paysage.

La matière, plus présente sur les côtés et au premier plan, apporte du relief et de l’ancrage à cette atmosphère presque irréelle. J’aime ce contraste entre les textures, que l’on peut observer de près, et la douceur de la lumière qui invite le regard à s’éloigner.

Au loin, quelques dragons apparaissent dans le paysage. Leur présence apporte une dimension imaginaire à la scène, comme un rappel que notre monde peut encore laisser une place au mystère et à ce qui nous dépasse.

Dans mon travail, la lumière représente une force qui me guide et me soutient. La matière, elle, me ramène au concret, à la vie et à l’importance de rester ancrée.

C’est cet équilibre que je cherche à peindre : entre douceur et relief, évasion et réalité, imaginaire et présence au monde.
